  • Russ Korins is Senior Counsel and works with CTSW’s technology companies and emerging venture clients. His 25 years of experience with technology businesses have included management positions in, consulting work for, and legal work for pioneering and high-growth companies.

    Russ draws on firsthand experience with rapid changes and growth to work with CTSW colleagues in providing strategic and practical guidance to technology clients. This clientele has included founders, executives, and investors in healthtech, venture and startup studios, Internet of Things technologies, and SaaS and enterprise software businesses.

    A member of the New York City Bar Association Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Committee, Russ has also been a guest panelist and presenter on legal issues of startups with Yale University’s Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking. He is an advisor to a Cornell Tech Product Challenge team of the school’s Studio program.

    Russ’s business experience includes work at The Pipeline, one of the first Internet Service Providers in the mid-1990s, including its acquisition and IPO by PSINet. He also worked at one of the first Enterprise Resource Planning software consultancies in the late 1990s, and one of the largest online brokerage services in the early 2010s. Russ has also worked alongside founders of numerous tech startups as a consultant, including an online music service, an online photo service, an online summer camp management platform, and an online weather radar platform.

    Russ is also a longtime member and former ten-year board member of the LGBT Bar Association Foundation of Greater New York.
