  • Aryeh (Marty) Klein joined CTSW since March 2020, setting up our affiliate’s Israel office, after working for more than 20 years in the legal department of Israel Aerospace Industries. He served as Deputy General Counsel for 15 years, leading IAI’s international department, before becoming Executive Vice President – General Counsel of IAI in 2016.

    Aryeh negotiated aerospace and defense contracts, teaming agreements and joint venture agreements with the world’s leading companies, including Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, and also represented IAI in marketing and sales to many countries around the world. He is deeply experienced in the aerospace industry, knowledgeable about UAVs, business jets, space systems, MRO and more.

    In the course of his work with IAI, Aryeh developed a network of contacts in many branches of the Israeli government, including the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice and the Government Companies Authority. Moreover, he represented IAI in structuring numerous FMF transactions, submitted several filings with the US CFIUS and worked on obtaining security clearances for two US based IAI subsidiaries.

    Aryeh is also experienced in matters relating to compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the OECD’s Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions, Israel’s implementing statute in its Penal Law, and other comparable laws in other jurisdictions.

    In his affiliation with CTSW, Aryeh has represented a wide range of clients, including two Israeli companies engaged in aircraft development programs, two medical technology ventures, successfully guiding a defense company in obtaining CFIUS approval, and several leading companies in their anti-corruption compliance programs.

    Aryeh graduated from Yeshiva University in 1984 with a B.A. He earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law, as well as an M.B.A. from N.Y.U.’s Stern School of Business, each in 1988. He is a member of the bar in New York State and in Israel.
